Tonight is the full moon, but last night was quite spectacular over Donner Lake.

I was doing some research today – looking for inspiration really – for a client who wants to do a wall collage but wants something eclectic. No problem, we have plenty of inspiration in front of us via the inter-webs! So I stumbled upon this blog post, the mother of wall collage inspiration! Enjoy
My wife and I spent some time a few years ago at the JFK Museum in Hyanis, and I ran across this photo that totally entranced me as a family/children’s photographer.
I thought to myself, wow, if the President can’t get a photographer to capture a great shot of all the kids, who can? It’s a tough job, I mean who wouldn’t cringe at trying to do 20+ kids aged 2-16? So I like to keep a copy of this photo around just to remind me that although I sometimes get some complicated family photo jobs, I’ll probably never have something this challenging. AND the thing I like to point out to my clients…this is as good as it got for the Kennedy’s – I think I can get you something a bit better! =)

Summertime! It’s always fun shooting kids when they are out of school, carefree and having fun!
Lots of Tahoe opportunities this summer, drop me a line if you are headed up for a vacation, or if you are staying around the Bay Area we can schedule that as well.

I saw this post today and thought it was hilarious, and actually there is a core idea that I like here!

March 9, 2012 – Last minute entry into the Beautiful Black & White category….because I like beautiful, but also love some humor.

Capturing the missing tooth and braces smiles was the goal of this session last week. I think we got it!
Last week my daughter Hayden had Spring break and she accompanied me on a photo shoot as an assistant. She had a good time, even declaring – “you have the best job in the world”, which is true =). I grabbed a few shots of her, 2 weeks shy of her 14th birthday.
